New website for a family hotel in Tournus, Burgundy. Designed in Figma, built on WordPress. Includes a booking form and a full English version for international guests.
Village Motel is a family hotel in Tournus, Burgundy. The old site looked its age and had no way to take bookings. The owner wanted something he could manage himself, with an English version to bring in international visitors.
I designed the site in Figma, then built the whole thing on WordPress with Elementor. Since launch, I also handle the maintenance: updates, adjustments and content changes.
The main piece was the booking form. It had to handle availability, seasonal pricing and special requests without falling apart during busy periods.
I rebuilt the booking form so it's simple for guests and easy for the owner to manage. He updates rates and availability himself. No phone call needed when the season changes.
The owner updates rates, availability and photos through WordPress himself. Season changes, new photos, price adjustments - he handles it all.
Most hotel bookings happen on a phone. The booking form and navigation were designed for small screens first, then scaled up.
The new design and the English version shifted how the hotel comes across. It's not a roadside stop anymore. It's a proper place to stay in Burgundy.
